**We should remind parents that there is no entitlement to additional holidays outside of normal holiday times; these should only be arranged after seeking the Headteacher's agreement.

It can be very disruptive to children to miss long periods of school and we would ask parents to try to avoid taking holidays in term-time, although we acknowledge that this is sometimes unavoidable because of parents’ work constraints.

*** Please note that the Year 6 assessments in English, Maths and Science take place Monday 10th May – Friday 14th May.  ***

These are important tests for the children and we will be grateful if parents of children involved in these would avoid taking holidays during this period.
