School Meals
School meals are prepared on site, are of very good quality and offer a nutritious balance; vegetarian and other special dietary requirements can easily be catered for. Dinner money is £2.00 per day. We operate a cashless catering system whereby each child has an account which can be topped up when required. The account is debited each time a child has dinner or attends breakfast club. Parents are welcome to pay a lump sum at the beginning of each half term.
Packed lunches should be brought to school in a suitable container. Children should be able to cope with any wrappers or containers. Sweets, chocolate bars and fizzy drinks are not allowed as part of a packed lunch. Drinks should be in well-sealed containers (no glass bottles, please, for safety reasons)

Charges for School Activities
Trips, visits by artists, theatre groups and musicians, and other activities, are important in supporting and extending curriculum work or in broadening children's horizons. Staff will often arrange educational visits as part of topic work, and we try to provide opportunities for children to experience and enjoy live theatre, music and dance.
Where an activity takes place completely within school time, we are not permitted to charge for children taking part, but we may seek a voluntary contribution from parents.
A child's participation in an activity will not be dependent upon such a contribution being made, but we will often canvass parent's willingness to support activities with voluntary contributions before arranging for them to take place.
Where an activity takes place partly or wholly out of school time, parents will usually be asked to contribute towards its cost.
Extra Curricular Activities
We aim to offer a wide range of activities outside normal school hours - we value the extra dimension that these add to the school. These activities may change from year to year and even during the year, but there will normally be creative, musical and sporting activities taking place.
There is also the opportunity for older children (Years 5 & 6) to go on a residential visit.
Complaints
We hope that concerns and complaints will not arise, but when they do we aim to deal with them quickly, courteously and effectively. Governors have adopted the City of
Any parent who has concerns about any aspect of the school's curriculum (including Sex Education, Religious Education or the Daily Act of Worship) or about any other aspect of school is invited to discuss these with their child's teacher or with the Headteacher. Parents should be assured that their concerns will be dealt with sympathy and understanding and that we will do all that we can to ensure that they are satisfactorily resolved as quickly as possible. Copies of the complaints procedure are available in school.
The School Profile
The School Profile provides important information about your child's school, it replaces the previous reporting mechanism, the Governors' Annual Report.
Through the School Profile, we will provide a report about our priorities and provide data on progress and performance, all updated on an annual basis.
